More WTC work.

I did some work on the south side of WTC 4, did some work on the top floor frames around the windows of the two towers, and did some work on WTC3.

Work continues on World Trade Center model :)

I started working on the other plaza buildings. I have the upper six floors of WTC 4, WTC 5, and WTC 6 and about 50% of the work done on WTC 3. I haven't started on WTC 7 yet, however I'm pleased with my progress. All the new work was done in one evening.

World Trade Center Model in Wireframe.

Just to show you the amount of work I put into this model (which is still a work in progress btw) in ONE day, here's a wireframe render of it:

Enjoy! :)

Ok, I'm mad now.

Someone downvoted my render of my World Trade Center so now it's at 2/5.

They probably did it because it wasn't done in G-Mod and didn't have animated people falling through the air and splatting on the ground. Or have an infinite loop of explosions.

Why doesn't my model have that? I have a sense of decency. Something like 95% of Americans under the age of 40 don't have anymore.

3D World Trade Center Towers

Did a quick model of the twin towers of the World Trade Center:

Nifty, isn't it?

Look out! It's teh snow! O_O.

At least the cold will slow any remaining zombie infection left over from the SDC's sterilization protocol.

Nothing new

One long and boring weekend and nothing happening. Even "Zombie Cat" is no where to be seen.

One of our kittens is injured. Seems like he hurt himself on something. We'll be setting an appointment up with the Vet this Monday.

Getting the internet back up upstairs on Thursday as well as TV and Phone! No more having to watch CW4 (since it's the only signal we can get on the rabbit ears we have hooked up to our main TV. We do get NBC WTHR 13 on the bedroom TV though, but that has rabbit ears and a bowtie antennae on it).

The zombie virus has reached Peru.

If anyone is reading this, watch yourselves and have at least one person on guard at all times.

This morning my aunt came home and found a dead cat in the driveway. She woke my mom and myself so we went out to see about moving it from the driveway out to a small grass area (so that it's owner could find it if they were looking). I tried moving it but it was frozen solidly to the ground. We decided to wait until later in the morning to move it and give it a chance to thaw out.

So I get up later and start to head out for my day when I notice that the cat is gone. Thinking someone picked it up during the morning, I continued on and got the Tracker out of the garage. As I was maneuvering it around, I saw that cat that was dead walk by. It stopped for a second to look at me and took off. I tried following it with the car but it had already ran off.

Keep an eye out for strange acting individuals and lock your doors. If it comes to a full invasion, go for the head.

Well.

Photoshop class is actually kind of fun (since unlike Brace we actually get projects that teach us how to use the software without the information plopping out the sides of our skulls).

English class, still boring. English teacher, still late :(

Today

I've been kinda "bleh" today. I didn't go to school because of like 40 mph winds and slick roads (And I drive a Tracker which blows in the wind and is rear wheel drive).

Spent most of the day just staying inside, surfing the internet, and getting tired of Fox pulling the 9/11 card repeatedly against Cloverfield. In one video they even say that no disaster film should be set in New York City unless it is specifically about 9/11 or makes a statement against the terrorists.

Come on. It's a monster movie, watch it as a monster movie. I'm tired of this 9/11 crap. It's been almost 7 years. I saw it live on CNN, I watched the wars unfold, I saw the reveal that Bush was wrong. I saw it all. The 9/11 chapter closed in 2003 when we stopped looking for Osama and decided to attack Iraq (For no real reason, just a fake one from one unconfirmable source). Stop pulling out the 9/11 card every single day. It's offensive.

Should I also mention that the only other major release this week was 27 Dresses, a Fox film?

Manhattan

It's a fun day for me :P My obsession with Manhattan is growing exponentially. Images may be cut off by the side navigation. Use the links below the images to view them directly.

Columbus Circle so far. Included in this shot is Trump International Hotel and Tower, Time Warner Center, and 2 Columbus Circle (The Lollipop Building)

Grand Central Station and the Metlife Building (roughly). Yes, I'm aware of the improper smoothing on the MetLife Building, I'll fix that later.

Here's the start of the Brooklyn Bridge. Very simplistic though.

And what kind of crazy person would I be without this:

All the known subway symbols in New York (except for the JFK Express white airplane one).

I'll update as soon as I get more detail added. Have a nice week!

Disappointed

Brett Farve.... man what ever happened to him?

Intercepted in overtime, Giants won it.

I'm not watching the superbowl (I don't think) but I hope the Patriots kick their butts. Though it would be hilarious of Eli could win the superbowl but Peyton couldn't get through the playoffs to defend the Colts championship :P

Packers vs Giants

The epic game is on. We're going for the Packers.

Youth group was canceled tonight, annual church members meeting was going on.

It's still too cold for anything. I spent most of the day working on a 3d model of Manhattan (Cloverfield got me into my Manhattan obsession again. It's been a while). I got some rough representations of some of the buildings on the island done. I might post a render next time.

Here's hopin' for better weather! :)

UnFiction down?

Seems like the overflow of crazy people wanting to know more about Cloverfield has killed the server. I just tried accessing a post about 4 straight times to no avail.

I'm getting tired of this crap. Come on, don't go to UnFiction for information, it's uncategorized and going through all those posts causes forum lag. Go to CloverfieldClues.com which has everything categorized through blogspot labels and also has plenty of information about the ARG/Backstory for you to look at.

Save UnFiction!

Weird Halo 1 errors

That virtually unplayable in XBox 1 disc works fine in the 360 save for some weird menu errors. Sometimes vowels will be replaced by strange characters or with nothing at all. Difficulty levels were as such:

Eas
N rm l
Her c
Legendar

I don't know how much longer that disc will last but I played through all of The Maw today.

Cold

Man it's cold out now. A whole 0 degrees. wow.

The door locks on the Tracker were almost frozen solid getting groceries today. The cold is leaking into the downstairs where this computer is and my feet are getting cold.

In other news, I watched Snakes on a Plane for the third time ever today.

No, it didn't get any better.

Wandering in a field of clovers

Saw that awesome new 1-18-08 movie today, it was great. Not the best but still pretty good. The tweens in the audience didn't like it though because it was "like someone was filming it." You should read the premise for the movie before you decide to watch it, not just pick a movie based on it's poster.

Some people.
